In April of each year, thousands of acoustic music fans converge on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC. Merlefest is dedicated to the life and music of Eddy Merle Watson, son of legendary folk icon Doc Watson. At Merlefest 2002, the best acoustic musicians in the world took the stage for Doc's 15th Anniversary Jam.
